Karolyn Raddatz Owner
	Karolyn Raddatz has been involved with the funeral home for the past twenty years, assisting her husband Jim with many aspects of the funeral business. She is a Registered Nurse and has worked at Mercy Hospital Medical Center since 1980, most recently being part-time at the Mercy Arthritis and Osteoporosis Center. She also was operating room nurse for years in Minnesota before moving to Des Moines. She and her husband Jim have two daughters and three granddaughters. Karolyn and Jim are members of Grace United Methodist Church and Karolyn is involved with a neighborhood Bible study. Together, they enjoy traveling and love to take the granddaughters along on trips. Karolyn sees the stress families experience at the loss of a loved one being similar to the stress of emergencies and surgeries at the hospital, so nursing skills can be helpful in both places.
